Future Directions

Teen PEP is an effective sexual health education model which has been successfully replicated across New Jersey and in North Carolina, and is poised to be replicated and implemented in schools and organizations across the country.

The students who participate in the program make healthier decisions which reduce their risk of pregnancy, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections. At the same time, student participants develop leadership skills that prepare them for success beyond high school. The Teen PEP team is actively working to enable young people throughout the United States to gain access to this program.
